History Custodians 2

The painting is a second in a series I intend to build upon over time. The maintenance buildings depicted in the paining are part of Swan Falls Dam Historic Park set deep in the Snake River Canyon, Idaho. The dam was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. So many stories here...ancient Lake Bonneville floods, Native Americans, early settlers, construction of the dam and the army of laborers working and living on site...it is eerily quiet today...so many stories.
