Dad enjoyed playing in the 4th of July Parade with a community band dubbed "Perfection Nots" named after a drum corps in Spokane called the "Percussionauts." He had a fun personality and was a fine clarinetist, and I love the joy on his face at this moment. This painting is done in transparent watercolor.
